Hi. I'm Here Regarding My Boyfriend. He Has The Symptoms

Hi. I'm here regarding my boyfriend. He has the symptoms of a strep throat infection: Hurts to swallow, white squishy and bumpy stuff on his tonsils as well as an inflamed throat, uvula and tonsils. I'm really concerned about him because a doctor that he went to said it was "just a sore throat" and it's clearly not just a sore throat. Please help me.
