Hi, I'm just wanting some advice from a professional, as none of my google searches are providing useful information.
My left hand has been clicking for a week now. I have been typing a lot more than usual/ more than I've ever typed before (I've typed an average amount in the past, but recently I've been typing a lot of essays and I'm used to writing out long essays). I am right handed, and my right hand is fine, I think it might be because my right hand has obviously had years of use in writing, but my left hand is taking strain. I have tried googling but can't find anything similar to what I'm experiencing.
It's not quite painful, although it is a very uncomfortable sensation, and feels like something needs to pop/click back into place. It's not my wrist, fingers or knuckles. I don't think it could possibly be carpal tunnel or trigger finger as google suggests, because I am not experiencing any of the same things. It clicks all the time - it feels like its below my knuckles, closer to the pinky finger side of my hand than the thumb side and not quite in the middle of the two surfaces, but closer to the outside of my hand. It clicks mostly when I rotate my wrist.
