Hi, I'm On My Second Month Of Oral Contraception. I

Hi,

I'm on my second month of oral contraception. I had spotting for the first two and a half weeks which stopped. I never got more than light spotting on the sugar pill days. Then about a week after I started having really thick red-brown vaginal discharge, not like a normal period. It's lasted about a week and a half. What could this mean?
I'm sexually active but on the pill as mentioned and we also have used condoms every time.
