Hi, I'm On The Contraceptive Pill Laila-35 ED And For

Hi, I'm on the contraceptive pill Laila-35 ED and for the last couple of months my period has come late. It usually comes on the day/night of the third sugar and pill and goes for five days, disappearing completely after I take the first active pill of the next month. Last month it came with two sugar pills to go, and then this month it came today which is the day of my last sugar pill. Should I take the active pill tomorrow as normal regardless or should I let my period go and reach it's normal duration? I'm confused and worried because I don't know why it's coming so late and I don't know what to do... Because if I stop taking the pill until my period finishes I'll be unprotected and have to start from square one, whereas if I take the active pill tomorrow I might screw up my body by not letting my period go?
