Hi, I'm Pretty Sure I Have Contracted A Uti Within

Hi, I'm pretty sure I have contracted a uti within the last 7 days. Can I treat it with clarithromycin? I have 250 and 500mg tablets. I normally avoid erithromycin as it reacts badly with my stomach. Symptoms which I have are: mild burning for a minute or two after urinating, not every time but 70% of the time. Slight inflammation of the tip of the urethra, and very small amount of clear discharge from time to time. Please advise.
