Hi. I'm taking dihydrocodeine for leg pain from ulcers and an old d.v.t. I take 12_16 30mg I.r pills a day I have a huge tolerance for opiate medication and my pain is barley controlled at this dose. I will be having dental implants full set upper and lower roots need taken out so sugary will be needed I will be in a lot of pain and a lot of swelling after. What can I be prescribed to cover this pain for the first week or so I've had morphine before 30 mg 4 times a day and that did not do much can you please advise so I know what to talk to my doctor about as he thinks I'm on a lot at the moment but I have to take this amount of dihydrocodeine just to function and I don't deal with pain well at all.
