Hi, In The Last Two Years I Have Been Getting

Hi, In the last two years I have been getting purple spots around my eyelids, not painful. Sometimes they're small and sometimes they're the size of a "blackeye". I have been to my MD and he had me get a brain scan. Its all clear. I have since developed very sore wrists that swell up at times too. I am being treated by a Nephrologist for unspecified stage 2 kidney disease. Other than that I'm a very healthy person.
My mother died from Amyloidosis, and this is a concern to my sister who thinks I should be checked out for this. What should I do?
