Hi, I've Been Experiencing A Problem Opening My Right Eye

Hi, I've been experiencing a problem opening my right eye in the mornings. I have to physically pull apart my eye lids in the mornings. It takes me a few seconds to do this. I sometimes see crusty stuff around my eye. This is have been going on for a week now. My eye also seems to be watery in my upper lid during the first few hours of the day. My eye doesn't hurt. I'm 27 years old and a teacher.
