Hi I've Been Fitted With A Mirena IUD (for Thickened

Hi I've been fitted with a mirena IUD (for thickened uterine lining) 2 weeks ago. I had a general anaesthetic and a biopsy done at the same time. 2 days after it I started experiencing intense heat sensations down the back of my left leg thigh and occasionally all the way to ankle. Also sometimes on the right leg. Happens between 20 and 40 times a day. 2 days after that I started experiencing intermittent pins and needles on both hands, sometimes feet and sometimes arms and legs. The symptoms don't appear to be getting better or worse at the moment. Could this be the IUD causing this?
