Hi. I've Been Having Headaches When I Wake Up, Or

Hi. I've been having headaches when I wake up, or soon afterwards. I've had a massive head injury 29 yrs ago and was told that the headaches are from all the scar tissue. The headaches I'm having are different though. i went and had my eyes tested and was told that my peripheral vision to the right is a very drastic change from last year and it is in both my eyes. I have to go see another doctor and have tests done apparently. My question though is, are my headaches related to my vision? Also, could it be serious?
