Hi I've Been Having Trouble Keeping My Nose/t-tone Not Flaky

Hi I've been having trouble keeping my nose/t-tone not flaky and dry. It's mainly my nose and I don't use any topicals or anything severe on my nose. I recently took my makeup off and notice that even before you could see the dry patch under my makeup and even after I took it off. I put oils, serums, heavy lotion for dry patchy skin and I don't know what else to do. Nothing is working. I've peeled the patch now and it's red and stinging is that going to cause a scar?
