Hi, I've Been Having Yellow Vaginal Discharge With Foul Smell

Hi, I've been having yellow vaginal discharge with foul smell on and off for a while, with some itching/irration (only sometimes)
I haven't been having sex, and I've only had two sexual partners.
I did have the implanon, and had a lot of problems with it, so I got it removed: could this be the cause or would it be something I should be worried about?
