Hi I've Been Noticing Recently That My Balls Have Had

Hi I've been noticing recently that my balls have had a brighter pink or red color compared to the rest of my genital area and my normal skin color. Is my genital area supposed to have a different color than my skin or is it some kind of skin related issue. I have not been engaged in any sexual activity with anyone except for masturbating.
