Hi. I've Been Suffering From Ear Piercing Infection For More

Hi. I've been suffering from ear piercing infection for more than a month. I went to see doctor approx 10 days ago, and she gave me mupirocin ointment. It got better for a week, but still it's red and swollen. Yesterday, I was washing my ears and applying the ointment, and it got super red and I think the ear skin is peeling off. What can I do before I go see doctor again?
