Hi, I've Been Taking My Birth Control Pills Laila 35

Hi, I've been taking my birth control pills Laila 35 and I skipped my last period by skipping the sugar pills and have continued just taking the other pills but now For the past few weeks I don't know where I'm up to with my pills cause I was taking them from different packets so I'm not sure when I should take the sugar pills next again? Should I just guess or? Does it matter when i take it cause I feel like it will stuff up my cycle
