Hi, I've Got A Hole In My Heart And I'm

Hi, I've got a hole in my heart and I'm waiting for an asd closure. This week I've had a really bad cold which triggered off a massive asthma attack. I'm now on antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. I'm getting palpitations and my knuckle on my left hand has gone dark purple and it hurts to touch. What could be causing the bruised like knuckle (which I have not caused injury to) and should I be worried?
