Hi, I've Had A 4-5 Year History Of Backpain -

Hi, I've had a 4-5 year history of backpain - specifically Thoracic area with tenderness along vertabre. I put this down to being a nurse and having 2 pregancies close together. Last year the pain got worse so the doctor prescribed me regular codeine and sent me for an xray which showed mild kyphosis and a loss of disc space between a couple of vertabre, the doctor never called me back and continues to fill my repeat prescription for analgesia.

My neurological symptons have been increasing over the past year, i get occasional saddle numbness and difficulty fully emptying my bladder. But more recently the pain has increased again and spontaneous bruising has appeared along my spine (in the places it hurts). I have also been getting severe headaches which are worse on waking. I know I should go back to the doctor but i am worried it is something more sinister than I orginally thought, I just want to be prepared for what it could be
