Hi. Ive Had A Funny Metalic/iron Taste In My Mouth

Hi. Ive had a funny metalic/iron taste in my mouth for the last week. I just looked and half red spots all over my mouth and throat. It doesnt hurt but when i eat certain foods it changes the taste or sensation. I ate strawberries and it made the problem areas in my mouth feel like i had ate pop rocks or drank soda. Those are my only symptoms. My throat doesnt hurt, nor does my mouth. My husband just got over strep throat. Maybe some sort of infection?
