Hi, I've Had About Two Boils With Dark Redness Surrounding

I've had about two boils with dark redness surrounding hard knots and are painful without even touching them. It may have started with a cystic zit that I had on my chin. I mainly let hot water bring the white to the surface. There was a lot of infection, yellowish too so when it got hot and opened I would squeeze to see if I could get anymore infection out. I always cleaned it afterwards with alcohol. Could this mean that I have a staff infection? One boil was on the inside of my leg. First they were both itchy and I just thought they were mosquito bites. I itched them. Then they turned to dark red big painful knots. One was on the line of my buttock area and the other was on the inside of my thigh. The first one on the inside of my thigh started to show red streaks until I started cleaning it antibacterial soap, drying it up with alcohol, and putting Neosporin on it. Then it eventually dried up. The one on the edge of my buttock has just surfaced with the white for a couple of days, its real red around it but hasn't developed a knot. I've also been nauseated and throwing up today. Why do I keep getting these? Could I have a staff infection? I do have a suppressed immune system from my hypothyroidism. So I get infections a lot.
