Hi. I've had persistent heart skipping all day. I DO have a heart murmur but it doesn't present symptoms unless I'm overtired or had too much caffeine. Most doctors don't even detect it! However, neither are the case today (and I'm not a regular coffee drinker).
I'm concerned because I'm 57, female, and there is some heart disease in my family (a brother had two heart attacks in his late 40s). I know that women don't present with cardiac issues the same as men.
Thoughts? I don't smoke or drink but I do take meds for RA and, lately, Flowmax (Rx by urologist).
No other symptoms.
