Hi, I've Had Problems With Kidney Stones For The Past
Hi, I've had problems with kidney stones for the past year and a half it has always resolved on its own when i get kidney stone pain attacks. I have passed a few stones in the past and had them analyzed. The ones that i had analyzed this last summer were aragonite stones. The only information i was ever able to get about this type of stones is that it is rare and that's it. I have since had kidney stone attacks since these were analyzed. I saw a urulogist in September because i was starting to have issues again. He wanted me to get a CT done but i refused at the time because i figured the attack would pass like all the others did. I started having problems a the week before Thanksgiving with pain right under my left kidney that moved down my left flank and iver the next week it moved into my left groin area. I decided to go to my regular doctor to see about getting some more hydrocodone fro the pain because she knows my history of kidney stone issues. When i go in to see her she always does a urine test for a UTI and it always comes back negative. During the second week of November I decided to get a CT because the pain was getting more intense in my groin and the pain meds were just not cutting it. It was discovered the i had two 1-2mm stones stuck in my ureter right before my blader. Those things have been stuck there for two and a half weeks and I'm wondering what i can do to get them moving besides drinking my weight in water. I was perscribed ocxycodone, flowmax but i learned that I'm allergic to flowmax and the urologist said there is nothing else he can give me besides the flowmax. I'm fustrated because these damn things are PAINFUL and I've been dealing with kidney stones for a year and a half and my CT showed that i have two more stuck up in my right kidney. I'm just wondering what else i can do?
