Hi, I've had uterine fibroid for 15 years. Up till now I have not experienced any discomfort except for heavy bleeding. Recently I started having longer periods up to 10 days and lots of clots. My OBGYN is suggesting hysterectomy of which I am not comfortable going thru, I am 52 and have no intention of having children. I was wondering if embolization is an option for me since the fibroid is about 12mm in size. What can I do?
