Hi I've Recently Got Diarrhea And Just Wanted To Know

Hi I've recently got diarrhea and just wanted to know if it could be caused from eating old salmon? I left it in the fridge for a couple days before frying it up and eating it. Well that's the only reason I can think of why I might have it.
Also is it ok to drink alcohol if I've taken medication to stop it?
