Hi MY CT Result Came And Its Says, "L5-S1: Large

MY CT result came and its says,
"L5-S1: Large central disc protrusion is present, extending 1 cm posterior to the annulus.This results to severe central stenosis with compression of the thecal sac.The dis is slightly asymmetric to the left, resulting in compression of the lest S1 root."
what dose that mean? I had pain in my left leg ( sciatic) which is gone now but I still have pain in my buttock.
