Hi. My 20 yr. old son is experiencing one of the negative side effects of the OTC drug, “PRILOSEC”. After talking with him extensively today, I found out that he has been taking too much for his dosage regimen....which was the reason he experienced the very unusual shortness of breath today on a hiking trip with his friends. So, a few minutes ago, he sent a text message to me stating that he is now experiencing the numbness and tingling feeling in his limbs (again)....which, again, is ONE of the (many) side effects of that drug. I'm thinking he should simply drink plenty of water to help flush out his digestive tract and discontinue using the drug for several days, but, what do YOU think? Is there something he can do NOW to stop that numbness / tingling feeling in his arms? Any instruction / and or advice will be welcomed. Thanks.
