Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 64 year old wife has had LDL of approx 4.5 for last few years and tryglicerides of 1. something (never higher). The last blood test within a year of the last, the LDL went down sig. to 2.8 with no medication and tryglycerides went up greatly to 3.43 (first time ever). She also has a lower BP and pulse than usual, and feels like passing out (she does not). Her pituitary will be checked. Is there an illness that that causes this. To me this looks like a lab error and we intend to repeat the test. Please reply to YYYY@YYYY thanks
