My 8 month old has had gastroenteritis for 6 days now. He won't eat or barely drink. He's having diorolyte but not much.
We took him to A&E two days ago and they suggested giving him 5ml of dirolyte every 5mins as he was dehydrated, which we've been doing.
My main concern is the diarrhea, it's literally just water, yellow/green in colour but the smell is like something I've never smelt before.
He's so lethargic and just cries and sleeps all the time.
At what point do I take him back to see a doctor? And is there anything I should be doing or not doing?
