Hi. My 9 Year Old Daughter Was Stung By A

Hi. My 9 year old daughter was stung by a bee on her foot two days ago. She pulled out the stinger and kept swimming at the beach. Yesterday we noticed there is a red line crawling away from the stung area.
What is happening? Is this something I can treat at home? She seems fine otherwise.
