Hi. My OBGYNE Told Me I Have Adenomyosis. I'm 38

Hi. My OBGYNE told me I have adenomyosis. I'm 38 yrs old and she told me to undergo hysterectomy. I'm afraid in this kind of procedure of what would be the side effect of it. Now I have abnormal discharge after my monthly period. My period usually up to 10 days but there's always brownish discharge after that. Is it normal for a person having this brownish discharge if have adenomyosis? Almost everyday I have this discharge? My Obgyne told me its because of my ovulating period. Is it normal?What would I do? Please help me.
