Hi, My Baby Is 29 Months Old. He Gets Frequent

Hi, My baby is 29 Months old. He gets frequent cought and cold specially in winters. We give him Solvin Cold 1 teaspoon twice a day and 1 teaspoon Monticope Suspension once a day. This cures him in 5-6 days but just after a week he again catches the cold and cough and we again repeat the dose. this chain of illness mostly occurs in winters.We are concerned if we should give him these medicines so frequent. Please advise.
