Hi, My Dad Is A Pretty Bad Alcoholic. And Usually

Hi, My dad is a pretty bad alcoholic. And usually on the weekend will go on a bender from Friday night thru Sunday. The last 6 months or so on some Sunday's (its always at the end of his bender but still while he is drinking) he will get very ill. He vomits, sweats and shakes. It usually lasts at least 48 hours. After that he is very lethargic. Do you think his organs are shutting down?
