Hi. My Daughter ( 3 Yrs 8 Mos) Had High

Hi. My daughter ( 3 yrs 8 mos) had high grade fever and diarrhea. Stool and blood test showed she has amoebiasis and bacterial infection. Dr. gave her septrin (12ml 2x for 10 days) and metrolag ( 5.5ml 3x a day for 10 days). 1. How soon should her situation improve? 2. She is 18.8kg. Is the 12ml 2x a day septrin ok? Isnt the dosage too high? Thanks
