Hi. My Daughter Is Five. Two Weeks Ago She Had

Hi. My daughter is five. Two weeks ago she had a sore throat with swollen tonisils with white puss and a low fever. We treated her pain and fever with children's tylenol and had her to start gargling with warm salt water. All of her symptoms went away except for her swollen tonsils which she's still treating with warm salt water. I'm wondering if it's normal for them to stay swollen so long (two weeks) and if this may possibly be something other than tonsillitis. She's been eating good lately and very active. She seems to be okay except for the swelling on both sides in the back of her throat.
