Hi. My Father In Law Had Transitional Cell Carcinoma. Removed

Hi. My father in law had transitional cell carcinoma. Removed a kidney and all was clear. A month ago he had back pain did scans and found tumour in ribs iliac bone and both lungs. What stage is that? What would be the best possible treatment. He is 67 years old. And what is the prognosis?
