Hi, My Father Is Liver Cirrhosis Patient With Low Hemoglobin(avg.

Hi,

My father is liver cirrhosis patient with low hemoglobin(avg. 8.5 - 9 ). Along with other medicines, he has been prescribed with CIPLAR-LA 40mg tab each day.

But, during last few months, we could observe, if the patient takes this medicine, he feels drowsiness, dizziness, vision changes. In summary, he goes to "subconscious mind" for 2-3 days. He cant even recognise us.

We contacted with doctor for this medicine many time, and also explained the situation. But suggesting from his end was to take this medicine every day and not to worry about this symptom.

But, we think there is serious issue with this medicine. Somehow, the patient is not able to cope up with this medicine. My father never had been any heart-attack.

SO, my question,

1) Is it suggested to take this medicine with low hemoglobin(avg. 8.5 - 9 )
2) And if it is required, can we lower the frequency, like taking 1/2 tab once a week. Or may be taking 2 tabs each month.

Please suggest us. Thanks in advance.
