My father started aricept 23, June 3, 2016. He was taking aricept 10mgs and we decided to try the higher dose and long acting. This am he was dizzy and nauseous. His bp elevated 168/70, pulse 52, blood sugar 119, sat 92, which is a little low for him, usually 95. Temp 97. He does have a supra public tube but does not appear to have onset uti at this time, urine clear and odor normal. My question is, I suspect the aricept 23 is causing a reaction,what would keep him comfortable until this wears down? He does not tolerate nausea medicine. Thank you for any ideas/help
