Hi,

My friend is obese (BMI 33.5), pre-hypertensive and has been having recent abdominal reflux issues. She went to her endocrinologist who suggested getting an ACTH test, overnight suppressed dexamethasone 0.5mg test and an ultrasound. The tests showed that ACTH was normal and so was the ultrasound. But the cortisol levels were too high (5.21 microg/dl). Is this indicative of Cushing's? She has been asked to do more tests such as the 2 day suppression test.
