Hi. My Grand Daughter Has Been Hospitalized With Viral Meningitis.

Hi. My grand daughter has been hospitalized with viral meningitis. She had been placed on antibiotics 2 weeks prior for strep throat. Severe head ache and spinal tap 2 days ago confirmed diagnosis. She is a nursing mom. 2 mos. old Baby now has rash all over body, bottoms of feet...is not fussy, doesn't appear to have fever. They have allowed him to be with her today to start breast feeding again. Rash started today, prior to that. What are the possible causes?
