Hi. My Husband Was Admitted To Hospital On The 25

Hi. My husband was admitted to hospital on the 25 of July 2016, on the 27 he was transferred to high care. After 3 hours he was transferred to icu and put on non invasive life support. I was told that he was having multiple organ failure and the treatment was not doing anything anymore for him. He died on the 6th of August, did he suffer? Or in a semi coma would he have not known what was happening to him. I did not get there in time. He was 58 years old, he also had COPD. Thanks
