Hi, My Husband Was Diagnosed With Type II Diabetes About

Hi,
My husband was diagnosed with type II diabetes about 8 years ago, I think, and is managed with diet and medications. He has been experiencing tingling in the bottoms of his feet for about 1 year now but today he noticed brown discoloration on his middle toe, left foot. Immediately he thought of his diabetes and potential for gangrene. His sugar levels are between 7 and 11 when he checks them. Frankly, I think he should check them more regularly, but he doesn't. Usually he checks his blood when he's feeling a bit off, sluggish, low energy.
