My insurance company is attempting to get me to change my antidepressant from Pristiq to citalopram, escitalopram oxalate, or venlafaxine. It took trying other antidepressants for years before I found one that works and has minimal bad effects. Are any of the drugs they have recommended even in the same category as Pristiq?
