Hi, My Mother Is A Cancer Survivor - She Had

Hi,

My mother is a cancer survivor - she had stage 1 breast cancer in 2009 and received the necessary treatment through 2009. We have been going for regular check up since, and there have been no complications (knock wood).

In most recent check up (May 13, 2016), the doctor said her reports were normal but made a note of 'Fibrotic Opacity seen in the right upper lobe'.

We asked the doctor what it meant and he assured us that there was nothing to worry about as it was normal for patients with breast cancer.

All other findings were normal and she doesn't have cough or any pain while breathing.

As a concerned son, I was wondering if we should get a second opinion on this, and what should we expect if we performed other checkups?

Thank you for your reply in advance.
