Hi, My Mum Had Oesophageal Varices A Few Weeks Ago

Hi,

My mum had oesophageal varices a few weeks ago and had them banded whilst in hospital.

It has been about 4 weeks since and she was to go on holiday, only 3 hours flight each way but my gran is worried and saying she shouldn't fly because of change in air pressure. Please advise if this is ok? She hasn't experienced any problems since the bands were fitted and she was discharged.
