Hi. My Name Is Tiffany And I Waa Recently Diagnosed

Hi. My name is Tiffany and I waa recently diagnosed with a UTI. I was given Macrobid. The sign of the UTI that lead me to the doctor was extreme pain in my upper rib area and lower to mid back. It has been pretty bad pain still on day 3 of taking macrobid. It seems to be getting less painful but it is hard to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Laying down is most comfortable. Is this normal?
