Hi. My name paul...I served in the forces for a number of years and sustained an ongoing injury in my shoulder and back...Nerve damage mainly...its resulted in rotator cuff syndrome and has been causing extreme pain for the last ten years...I have recently been to my doctor and been prescribed GABAPENTIN.....my concern is that my reserve on this medication seems to be third line defence against AMATRIPTALINE then PREGABALIN. I have concerns with GABAPENTIN due to the side effects. I have read that LYRICA or commonly known as Pregabalin has a widley much better result than GABAPENTIN. My doctor doesn't seem to think so so I am looking for a second opinion. Any advice qould be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
