Hi. My Nephew 11 Yrs Old Has A Lump On

My nephew 11 yrs old has a lump on his throat..in the middle..
It disappeared after 3 weeks..and came back again..it measures around 5 cm..
He normally suffers from blocked nose, cough and cold but he is fine these days..
Had his blood tests taken. .
All is fine apart from his white blood cells count is a bit high..
What can this lump be doctor??
