Hi, My Nephew Is A 26 Year Old Quadriplegic, On

Hi,
My nephew is a 26 year old quadriplegic, on a ventilator, who had an emergency appendectomy 3 weeks ago. He's had severe stomach pain every day since the surgery, which we've been giving him Tylenol and Ibuprofin, but it doesn't really work, and affecting his sleep and his bowels. The pain worsens after he eats. The first day he was home, he had about 4 spoonfuls of applesauce and the same of chocolate pudding. He's been eating a little solid foods, but no fruits or vegetables, and it's usually take-out or heat n' eat. Basically, unhealthy meals. I've suggested yogurt, and other healthier choices, but he's pretty stubborn. Is there anything I can suggest that would help?
