Hi! My Partner Had A Terrible Infection A Year Or

Hi! My partner had a terrible infection a year or so ago that spread all over his body (it began at his groin and ended up in his ears and his face swelled up like a balloon... it was very dramatic). The diagnosis was yeast overgrowth followed by strep and another coinfection I can't remember. In any case, all symptoms cleared up. Now, his ear is starting to flake and ooze and I noticed the smell of chlorine on his breath which I remembered from when he was very sick. Any ideas?
