My pre-medicated patient with Hx of Endocarditis came to my office to proceed with Dental extractions ( Moderated bleeding expected). He states that he took the (4x500mg) Amoxiciline 5 hours before. I proceeded with the oral surgery even though it was not in the range of one hour before the procedure.
Can some body tell me if I did the right thing? Where can i read about it?
