Hi. My Son Is One And Half Years Took Him

Hi. My son is one and half years took him to a children's hospital and he was told he has viral skin infection. After monitoring him, it looks like impetigo. The sores are itchy forms a crust, watery and spreading to different parts. The way impetigo is described on net is the same way his wounds are behaving. I was given an anti histamine cream;Eurax. And it's still not drying up fast. Kindly assist.
